We returned home from our trip to Utah on Halloween night. We hoped to get home in time to at least take McKayla to the neighbors’ houses but that did not happen. By the time we were ready to take her out, everyone had turned their lights out. Being typical parents and not wanting the guilt (as if she really cared), we decided she had to trick-or-treat to at least one house. So, Mac took McKayla outside and trick-or-treated to our own house. I know, lame, but we just had to. And the funny thing is, she thought it was great! What could be better than Mommy answering the door and giving out treats?!
